Shadow Ensemble is a Tel-Aviv based music project by drummer/producer Oren Gilad, ranging between Trip-Hop, Post-Rock and Dark 80’s. Notable influences include Depeche Mode, London Grammar, Hælos, Tears for Fears, Eivør, Hooverphonic and more.

The project’s 1st EP, titled ‘Out of the Darkness‘, blends traditional song-crafting with a triphop-based, electro-acoustic, downtempo feel. Following the EP’s release was a series of band concerts, international collaborations and remixes for inspiring artists (Eivør, Deep Sea Diver).

Plans for 2026 include the release of a 2nd EP with accumulated original songs and covers, as well as touring in Israel & abroad.
